Scythe

In my opinion, Scythe was one of the best books I've ever read. I really enjoyed all the drama, killings, and action that was in the book, so I got the next book in the serious. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes action books, or if they like unexpected books. Although I didn't enjoy how long the book was when I first got it, once you start reading it, it gets so good you don't even realize how much you've been reading. Scythe is fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Falling Over Sideways

Overall I really liked this book because it goes on when these kids are in 8th grade. I would rate this book a 10/10 because certain aspects make it very realistic and good. The book is about a girl named Claire, who's dad gets a stroke, which leads to many problems. Because of this, Claire gets very frustrated with life. This book is very good in terms of making it seem real.

The War That Saved My Life

Ada is a young girl with a clubfoot which means her foot was twisted since birth. Most people get it fixed right away but her mom never fixed it and she hid her in a room so that she couldn't go outside and abused her because she was ashamed of her. Then she runs away to meet a woman named Susan who treated her like a parent should but she has trouble every once in a while because people treat her differently, people are mean to her, and many people don't believe in her. This book teaches you that it is okay to be different. I thought this book was okay but it was very sad and the ending should have been happier. I wish that Ada could have more happy moments because it seemed like after everything she did, something bad happened right after. Some people might like the book better if they like more sad books that have less happy moments.

Falling over sideways review

Overall the book Falling Over Side Ways is an amazing book. It covers topics about mental growth. To begin with, her father goes through a stroke with stunts his ability to do anything even eating and speaking. All of this goes down at home where at school and dance she is not having the easiest time either. This causes her mental wellness to decrease whereas she tried to deny these changes where happening. Also, I can connect to this book based on how sometimes within the school I don't have the easiest time. Whereas our situations are different so therefore the outcomes are also different.
Falling Over Sideways was an amazing book. I enjoyed every part of it. I loved how the book set many different moods. I understood the book in every chapter which is usually hard for me. The way the author explained the events was in a good way that makes the readers really engage in the book. I would rate this book at 10/10 because of how interesting it was. I would recommend this book to 6th graders and higher because any age under might not really understand it. Overall this book was amazing and I highly recommend this book.

Could a War Save Your Life?

Ada is young girl who is living in England during the time of Hitler. She lives with her evil Mam and her younger brother. She is almost normal, except she has a clubfoot. She decides to run away with her younger brother and meets a woman names Ms. Smith. There she learns many lessons that make her who she is. I thought that this was a good book because it involved events that actually happened and fictional characters to make the story more engaging. This book was very sad in the beginning but got better which made it better throughout the book. The only thing I would change is making Becky be part of the story because I think she could've made the book more interesting. Overall, this was a good and interesting book and I would definitely recommend.

F A L L I N G O V E R S I D E W A Y S !

Falling over sideways is a very good book and I would rate it 10/10! It is very relatable to many people because many people deal with middle school meanies or a tragic event in their family. Even if you have not experienced any of those, this book is still very fun to read. I love how the author includes words that make it all feel extremely realistic. I also love how the book is split up because the chapters stop a perfect time to take a break and they start at a good time so you do not forget what you had read before. Next time you want a good, welcoming, entertaining, and detailed book then read Falling Over Sideways!😄😄😄😄😄😄

Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda Blog

Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda is an amazing book for ages who are ok with strong language. It introduces a lot of interesting and different characters, it is easy to connect with at least one of them. The story, in general, is very intriguing, and the turning points in each character are executed perfectly. Every character gets at least one chance to have their own moment and connect with the readers, which is one of the best things about this book. To anyone who hasn't read it, it may look cliche and unoriginal, but it is a book that goes beyond all expectations and is great and enjoyable. I would rate it five stars.

Ghost, Read or Don't Read?

Well I would recommend reading the book Ghosts if you enjoy running or play Track and Field. This book meant a lot to me because I play Track and Field and it shows what and how others thing about this sport. It also shows how this kid who isn't allowed to anything out of school became someone to impress his mother and prove her wrong and that he can run. HE discovered in could run after an incident with his dad and now he is in jail for this. Read the book to find out what happens to him.

Holding Up The Universe

I thought Holding Up The Universe was kind of predictable. It was so classic of a story that you knew what would come next before it even happened. Although the author did add some interesting or unique touches to the characters lives, it was still, in my opinion, a boring book to read. I personally wouldn't recommend this book, but everyone has different taste, so anyone could really have a different opinion of it.

Ru Ready Player One

Th Book ready player One includes action and dark/teen comedy It is a great book for people who love comedy and action. But this book does have a lot of setting explained at the beginning of the book but if you hold on it get's better. Overall I loved this book even though it's a little long But I would rate it an 8.5 out of 10 stars and recommend this to teens and preteens.

Are you Ready, player one?

Overall, I think that this book was very good, but it was very long and anti-climactic at times. There are many parts of the book that is interesting and many parts that are boring and slow. Overall I think that this book was okay but I wouldn't recommend it to kids.

Last meeting Fake ID

When I finished the book fake ID I was left surprised, by I also sort of figured out the ending as I was reading. In all, I really liked the book, by if I were the author I would have made it harder to figure out who killed Eli. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery.

Scythe

"Scythe" was an intriguing and very heart-warming book. It left a cliffhanger at the end of each chapter and continued to make me want to read on. The character development in the story is phenomenal and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a blend of romance and action. Out of five stars, I'd give it four for the plot and storyline, but the story got dull at some parts and seemed to just drag on. Good job, Neal Shusterman!

The War that Saved My Life Will Actually Save Your Life!

The War that Saved My Life is about a young girl named Ada who is living in London during the time of Hitler. Since there were rumors of Hitler thinking about bombing her town, Ada and her little brother Jamie decide to flee their awful home and go to safety where a kind woman named Susan Smith takes care of them. Ada also has a love for horses which can take her on many adventures since Miss Smith has a horse named Butter. They have had many adventures so far and definitely more to come. Our group would recommend this book to anyone who likes to learn a little history or just want a good, interesting book to read.

Read or Tread?

Ghost is an amazing book all about Track and Field and running. It starts with this kid named Ghost who at first couldn't run but found himself able to when he was running away from something that changed his life. He was watching a private track and fireld practice and when he was spotted watching them the coach called him down to race his fasted player, an asian kid. They raced and still to this very day we don't know if he won or lost. Read the book to find out what happens next and what happens with his running career.

Claire got scared and called 911. After hours of surgery and time in the hospital they find out that Claire's dad had a stroke. This effects claire and her family a lot, especially her brother Matthew. Hopefully everything turns out ok for Claire and her families sudden problem. The Scythe Is Going To Kill You -- Literally and Metaphorically

"The Scythe" is a very intense and intricately written book with different plot twists in every chapter. Unfortunately, there has yet to be some character development in the two main characters, Citra and Rowan, for they have stayed the same since the beginning of the book. The book is very good at grabbing the reader's attention and some may find it hard to put down the book once they start. We would recommend this book to everyone who's interested in a story that has a nice blend of action, adventure, and romance.

Round 3 FAKE ID

Up to page 150 summary (By Richie Auerbach)- Nick and his family relocate to a new home and school. At school, he got into a disagreement with a bully names Zach. As well as this he was given a random schedule change. Later that week Nick was invited to "The Dust Off" which was really a party at a friends house. But there as a dilemma. Nick had to finish his essay or he wouldn't be able to attend. Still new, Nick is realizing new this about a good friend names Eli including that his sister was a schoolmate Reya. Eli and Nick both went to the party together, but Nick still got his amazing essay in as well. The following day Nick was walking through the school and found Eli dead on the floor. Within a split second, Nick sprinted home only to find police cars in the driveway. The police started to question Nick, but Nick pleaded not guilty multiple times, but still got thrown in jail anyway.  We would recommend this book this book to all mystery follow...

Holding Up The Universe

Two characters, Libby and Jack, both go to the same high school. They both struggle with a personal issue that affects them in a certain way. Libby was known as America's Fattest Teen and is bullied because of it. Jack, on the other hand, has a disease called prosopagnosia, and cannot recognize people's faces. Throughout the book, they start off as enemies and become closer. In our opinion, we think this book is kind of a typical high school drama book, which makes it kind of predictable and boring. It's a well-written book, but the plot is kind of dry. I would not recommend this book to people who like reading about unique or interesting situations.
