Falling Over Sideways was an amazing book. I enjoyed every part of it. I loved how the book set many different moods. I understood the book in every chapter which is usually hard for me. The way the author explained the events was in a good way that makes the readers really engage in the book. I would rate this book at 10/10 because of how interesting it was. I would recommend this book to 6th graders and higher because any age under might not really understand it. Overall this book was amazing and I highly recommend this book.
The War that Saved My Life Will Actually Save Your Life!
The War that Saved My Life is about a young girl named Ada who is living in London during the time of Hitler. She has a normal life other than her foot, which her Mam says is the ugliest thing she's ever seen. Since there were rumors of Hitler thinking about bombing her town, Ada and her little brother Jamie decide to flee their awful home and go to safety where a kind woman named Susan Smith takes care of them. Ada also has a love for horses which can take her on many adventures since Miss Smith has a horse named Butter. They have had many adventures so far and definitely more to come. Our group would recommend this book to anyone who likes to learn a little history or just want a good, interesting book to read.
